Oatmeal

We had oatmeal for breakfast this morning, the first time we've had oatmeal this year. We bought it at our local baking goods store for one yen per gram. That's about US $4.75 per pound. That's why it's the first oatmeal we've had this year. I expect to order some from The Flying Pig. That's mail-web order service tied in with Costco Japan, which is in Kobe. There it's about US $19 for 9 pounds, less than half as outrageously expensive. (1767 yen plus shipping for 4.4 kg.)
