Shira ae for dinner

Well, as a side dish for dinner. My wife had the day off today, and I was gone most of the day, so she cooked a few things and bought some maki-zushi for dinner. One of the things she cooked was shira ae. which is occasionally presented in English under the horrible name mashed tofu salad.

This was, as you can see, very basic shira ae, without the shiitake or the goma sesame dressing that often accompanies it.
